Regional Workshop on Elaboration Behavioral Profiling Manual

On October 27, 2022, BOMCA, LEICA projects funded by the European Union and UNHCR concluded a series of seminars training of trainers on identification and profiling techniques with the Regional Workshop.
17 law enforcement officials representing the State Border Service, Ministry of National Security, Ministry of Interior and State Migration Service of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan discussed the content of the elaborating guidebook on identification of terrorist-fighters, illegal migrants, criminals and refugees for the field officers of the mentioned institutions. 
The experts from Slovakia, Belgium, Latvia and consultants of the UNHCR shared their experiences with practitioners in order to joint elaboration of the content for this guidebook with respect of human rights and human dignity aspects. The issue will be finalized and ready for distribution at the beginning of the next year.
The Project LEICA (Law Enforcements in Central Asia), is implemented by the European Commission through a consortium created of French CIVIPOL and Slovak ISEMI, supported by Interpol.
